The pineapples grown at Eolimai are certified organic and picked in late june through mid july. They are the Sugarloaf "white" type known for their sweet smooth taste. The use of "green water" from the catfish tanks as fertilizer is a model of sustainability. Weeds are controlled by hand and with competitive sweet potato vine. Dried pineapple is available both retail and wholesale. fresh fruit is seasonal.
